First Activity : Visit Nami Island

Gaecheonjeol (개천절) is a public holiday in South Korea on 3 October. Also known by the English name National Foundation Day, this holiday celebrates the creation of the state of Gojoseon (ancient Korea) founded by Dangun Wanggeom in the year 2333 BC.

So, on that weekend we went to Seoul for holiday. We have the opportunity to visit the day Nami Island also known as Namisan. Nami Island located in Bangha-ri, Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon-si was not an island originally. It is an island of the Bukhangang River, which was made as a result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam.

Besides, equipped with the facilities for recreation and accommodation, a zoo, a botanical garden and pleasure boats, it is well qualified as a all-round recreation center.

People love this island as a rest place to provide young people with romance, lovers with reminiscences, families and workers with affection. In particular, well-known through a TV drama, 'Winter Sonata' in 2002.

Second Activity : Lunch With Colonel Jung Yu Jin

6 October 2011, We were invited by the Colonel Jung Yu Jin to dine a lunch at a Korean restaurant with Mdm Shim Yujin. We were given copies of pictures by him in conjunction with the last Chuseok.

We appreciate his invitation. He was very friendly and cares about us. He is like uncles to us here. We touched on his attitude towards us. We have enjoyed a variety of dishes based on vegetables and fish.

Third Activity :Computer Science Department Festival

6 October 2011, The Computer Science Department had done the festival for its department. At this festival, many games are involved. Izzat and Akmar not miss the opportunity to have fun with friends.
